So you went on strike because you wanted a raise [Ryan’s Rants]

I could not believe my eyes and ears this morning when I turned on CNBC and heard this news. I can’t make this shit up y’all, there are actually union people striking today because they are mad that their jobs are getting outsourced! WTF? The outsourcers are rejoicing at the pure stupidity of the whole debacle. I felt like making one of those Willy Wonka meme pics that said “So you went on strike because you wanted a raise? That’s so demanding of you.   In 2007 I had the pleasure of reading a book called “Atlas Shrugged” by Ayn Rand. The overlying concept of the book is entitlement. People that are employees, don’t understand all the ins and outs of business. This is the bi-product of giving participation trophies out for 2 generations. Which by the way, the guy who came up with the whole “everyone needs a trophy” and “never spank your kids” his son committed suicide.

Why are we or did we ever listen to him? I’m not really a “smart” guy but I can see that what is going on right now is greedy across the board.   Employees want all the glory and benefits of management. But management paid the price, time and labor to get where they are and build it up. Employees are employees for a reason. If they were worthy of management, they would be management. We are all created equal but we are not all equal in the same. For example I can’t play any sport what so ever, I suck, but I’m damned good at marketing. You may suck at marketing but be able to hit a golf ball 300+ yards. So we are evened out and equal in the end, but not in the same areas.   I could go on and on forever about this but I will just turn it over to the video I made. I’m pretty sure the video says it all.
