For the life of me, I can’t begin to understand why people behave the way they do online. Somewhere, along the lines, we’ve been programmed to behave differently online than we act in real life. From trolls to arguing politics, to bashing each other, these are normal things online, but not normal off. 
 

I’m a firm believer in being the same way offline as you are online.

 
Especially when it comes to sales. Salespeople tend to think you have to sell differently from email, text, social media and through video than you do when you’re face-to-face. I’m here to tell you; you don’t! You need to sell exactly online, the way you sell offline. The formula is the same; the communication device is the only difference. 
 
The salespeople who learn to master the online process in the same way they’ve mastered the face-to-face selling process will be the salespeople who survive as more and more “robots” replace jobs.
