Before you overreact and flip out, I’m sharing this with you to help you, not piss you off. It’s been said that change will set you free, but it will piss you off first. I’m going to share with you some changes that are taking place in our industry. If you choose to ignore them, that’s on you. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Younger folks have an edge on people like you and me.

They’ve grown up with computers their entire lives. I didn’t have a computer in my home until I was 11 years old. Even then, it was a giant, slow, piece of shit. Today’s 25-year-olds grew up with fast processors, computer classes in school and iPads. This gives them an edge. While you and I are trying to figure out how to program a TV, these youngsters are coding their own software.

This should be scary as hell to you if you have no tech skills but you work in sales. There are a lot of kick ass millennials who can close and use the web to do it. I see young talent every day. People like Gallant Dill, Yakov Satviskiy and Caleb Maddix are on the come up and they ain’t programming TV remotes.

If you think your phone skills will keep you employed for the next 10 years, what are you going to do when no one uses the phone anymore? Think I’m nuts, mark my words; Robots are alive and well in 2017. By the time 2027 comes around they will be running shit and the youngsters will be running the robots.

Watch this video and I’ll explain the OG salesperson’s near future struggle and how they can quickly adapt and get on track to the future of sales. www.breakfreeacademy.com/entoruage
