Waking up early and getting things done is awesome!
It doesn’t matter if you are a salesperson or a business owner, there are so many benefits to getting out of bed early. If you do not at least try getting up early, you will never know about these benefits.
The earlier you wake up and start working the earlier you will be done for the day and do whatever you please with your time.
In this THC Podcast episode, the head closer in charge Ryan Stewman is going list the benefits of waking up early, and he is also going to give you some tips to help you make the transition yourself.
Let’s get into it!
5 Reasons Salespeople And Entrepreneurs Should Wake Up Early
1. Minimal Distractions
When you are up at 3 am,4 am, or even 5 am getting stuff done, you will have far less possible distractions.
If you are working from home and you get up early chances are your spouse and or kids are still in dreamland which of course makes it easier for you to go head down and grind.
Another plus of being an extra early riser is since most people are still sleeping your phone, email and Facebook notifications will be extra dry which will help you stay focused and get things done.
When you have no distractions, and you are free to focus on work you will see an increase in the quality of your finished projects. For sure.
2. You Will Save More Money
If you are getting up super early, I highly doubt you are out tearing up the club and bar scene till the wee hours.
The less time you are spending going out to party the more money you are keeping in your pocket.
Going out gets expensive and the second you even just cut back on your partying you will see more money in your bank account. Who doesn’t like that?
Getting up early will not only save you money but also will help you make more money.
3. Afternoon Nap
When you are getting up between 3 – 5 am and getting straight to work, once you finish your tasks you most likely will need a recharge.
A midday nap is an awesome way to get your body and mind recharged and ready to tackle more tasks.
Now depending on if you are working for someone else or you are running your shop taking a midday nap might not be an option. If that is the case, you will need to find some other way to recharge your mind and body.
Exercise, Yoga or even meditating are all options you can do instead of a nap that can be very helpful for recharging your battery.
4. It’s Easy To Switch Up Your Sleep Schedule
People often think it is going to be an intense challenge to switch up their sleep schedule but in reality, it is not.
Just like anything else, it will take discipline and commitment, but the good news is that’s all it takes.
You might feel extra tired at first but that won’t last long. You will quickly see it will become a normal procedure for you.
Anyone can do it. That includes you.
5. Gives You A Competitive Edge
When you wake up super early in the morning and start grinding, you are giving yourself a competitive edge over your competition because they are still sleeping.
By the time your competition gets their asses out of the sack you already have some tasks checked off your to-do list.
Whether you are a sales professional or an entrepreneur, you want to leverage any edge up on your competition as possible.
Something you can control and is easy to do that will give you a competitive edge is simply just wake up early and get at it.
While your competition is sound sleep in dreamland, you are up making things happen. That will never hurt you and only help you achieve success that much faster.
