5 Keys To Building A Successful Coaching Business
1. Actually Be Good At What You Coach Before You Coach It
We are living in a world where people run ads online claiming to be able to show you how to make a million dollars when in fact they’ve never made a million dollars.
To be a successful coach you need to have actually been good at and have accomplished what it is you are trying to help people accomplish.
Nobody likes an imposter and in this episode, Ryan goes into further detail on the importance of actually being good at what you claim you can help others with.
2. Be The Authority
If you want to build a successful coaching business it is important that you are positioned and viewed as an authority in your space.
If you want to be viewed as an authority you need to show people you know what you’re talking about and that you’re good at it. Show em you have the chops.
The best way to get someone to pay you for something you are good at is to show them how good at it you are.
3. Be Brutally Honest Yet Caring
When you’re running a coaching biz you have to be prepared to tell people things they don’t always want to hear.
That’s what they are paying you for and whether they like it or not it’s what they need to hear.
The key is to be brutally honest but yet caring at the same time.

4. Learn To Advertise (Copy, Ads, Marketing, Social)
You can’t build a successful coaching business on word of mouth you need to learn how to advertise.
You could be a better coach then Bill Belichick but if no one knows that you will not have a successful coaching biz.
The truth is even if you’re a shitty coach (for the record we hate shitty coaches over here just saying) if you’re a good advertiser you can sell shitty coaching services but that’s not how we suggest you should roll.
If you’re a good coach and you ad good advertising to the mix you will for sure have a successful coaching business.
5. Hire Pros To Help You Grow
If you want to be a successful coach you will have to embrace the fact you can’t do it all on your own and you will need to hire some other pros to help you make it happen.
We can’t be good at everything it takes to be successful so you need to bring onboard the right people that can help you get it done professionally.
