My life was not always easy. 

Adoption

Divorce

Prison

For the longest time, that story stuck hard with me and I did
everything in my power to escape it.  

I was constantly working to reinvent myself by being other
people until I finally decided to be myself. 

When I did, everything fell into place. 

But, no matter the network, the cars, the private jets, the
influencers, pro athletes, and successful business owners I have in
my netwok, there are moments where I am reminded of where I’m
from. 

Today, I’ll share a moment that served as a big reminder for me
in the last few years that made me grateful for everyone and
everything I have. 

The lessons have been written in your past to prepare you for
today and your future. 

Embrace your progress and never forget where you came from. It
made you who you are at this very moment.

we were children. Most of these are shaped before the age of 7 years
old. 
At 7 years old, we don’t know shit. 
I was captive until I decided to rewire my mind. 
I believed that people like me ended up in
institutions. 
That people that love you will leave you. 
Society will be tough on you. 
It wasn’t until I was locked up a second time in prison before I
started reading books, and educating myself.
My parents didn’t live like I live. 
They didn’t have access to information like you and I
have. 
If you’re going to free your perspective, it’s said something
significant has to happen to you: 

Lose your job
Get divorced
Lose your freedom 
Get a disease
Lose someone close to you

I had a perspective that imprisoned me. 
I started reading. 
They say knowledge is power. 
No. 
Applied knowledge is power. 
You won’t know how big and abundant the space is around you
until you decide to climb the mountain and get to the
top. 
If you haven’t had some life-altering shit happen to you, it’s
up to you to get uncomfortable and change your own
perspective. 
Growth doesn’t happen when you’re locked up! 
Take it from me……………. 
I know.
