I just paid $6.49 at lunch today for beans and rice with a tortilla. WTF is going on with prices across the board? Our chip bags are filled with air, our cuts of meat are getting smaller and the COST OF EVERYTHING is going UP! Now, you can sit back and blame a president or blame your circumstance or whatever the case may be. The truth is that YOU are in charge of yourself. The freaking control freaks are the reason we are in the shape we are in. Maybe the food portion issue is so that our own fat asses are forced into a diet. Whatever the reason may be, it doesn’t matter. When you wake up the day after the election SHIT IS STILL GOING TO BE EXPENSIVE. There is only one way to FOR SURE overcome the rising costs of everything. MAKE MORE MONEY. IT REALLY IS THAT SIMPLE. “oh that just fixes everything, now doesn’t it Ryan” I can hear you when you have these condescending thoughts, you know.?. The harder truth is that there is no fix to this. It is up to YOU to pull your shit together and work harder. It costs more to live, so are you making more to stay alive? If not, then I have a rude awakening news flash for you: “You gotta get it together” It won’t kill you to get two jobs and work at night instead of drinking and pissing all of your money away. Oh…and the cost of drinking is going up constantly too. America was founded on hard work. Now, thanks to technology, we are getting lazier. Instead of relying on tech to do everything for us, we better do more than before. That’s how humans work; evolvement. Have you seen Terminator? If we don’t act now, the f’n machines will take over. And we are getting lazy enough to let them win! All joking aside, I love technology. It’s my passion. I understand that I have to use it in conjunction to my other actions, not just rely on it. There ARE jobs out there. You just might have to get two to earn the same money you were before. And that’s not counting the inflation rate. The bottom line is this: If you don’t start taking action, then people JUST LIKE ME will take it for you and pass you by. It’s just a cold, hard fact of life. This week’s rant sheds some light on the jobs and cost of living subject. “THE RENT IS TOO DAMN HIGH!”
