The way employers look at hiring salespeople has changed a lot in the last 18 months. Thanks to the advent of artificial intelligence, virtual reality and automated follow up, the demand for salespeople has changed.

Look at car dealers for example. Back in the day, there would be 20-30 car guys standing out front waiting on an up. Nowadays there are usually three or four because most of the force is behind the scenes working on Internet leads.

If you don’t know how to work Internet leads, you won’t get the good leads.

The bottom line is that salespeople need to be aware of this coming trend that could replace them in the same fashion factory workers on the assembly line were replaced in the 90s.
