Almost every day, when I hop on phone appointments with prospects, they ask me questions like “I know you are super busy how did you manage to call me right on time?” While I am extremely busy, I also prioritize my days around phone calls and face-to-face meetings. I’m one of those people who makes an appointment and doesn’t miss it. Im conscience of my time management everyday, all day.
Over the last year and a half I’ve got busier and busier. Just like your real estate or maybe your mortgage business has. The economy is recovering and people are finally buying into this whole “social media marketing thing”. Each month I receive anywhere from 100-200 new leads. Before I can take any money from any of them, I have to hop on the phone and qualify them first.
Just like you have to take applications, show properties and everything else, it’s hard to keep up with a schedule. Unless, you can put your schedule on auto-pilot. About 9 months ago, I found a way to do just that! For the better part of a year now, I’ve been using a service called Schedule Once. It’s a service you can use which ties right into your gmail or outlook calendar. It syncs across all your devices without having to download a single app.
Here is how it works.
Schedule Once provides you with a unique schedule URL once you sign up. This URL is one you create, so you can call it what you want. For example, if you want to set a time with me you can use http://meetme.so/hardcorecloser
After a person sets a time, Schedule Once automatically sends them multiple reminders and logs their calendar too. At the same time, it selects a spot on your calendar and provides you with a phone number. Literally all you have to do is look at your calendar and click the phone number to make a call. You can also make all sorts of reminders and follow ups!
Next time you get an online lead have your webpage redirect right to the schedule once page. They can then fill out an application and select an appointment time all at once. All you have to do is check your calendar each day to see what tasks you have at hand. It makes managing your time WAY more easy.
I also use the multipage feature for my team members. I have each of my sales staff use a personal link for my prospects to select a time. All my staff has to do is check their phone calendar each day to know what leads to call and sell. Schedule Once has made my life easier. If you choose to use it, it will make yours easier too. How great would it be to simply send out a link and never miss an appointment again? Last thing, if your prospects miss an appointment you know it’s because they are an ass.
